Double Sync

Hello,

i reinstalled my Windows System and my gogTasks.

From this Time gogTasks always duplicated my tasks. If I create an object in Outlook, and then synchronize with Google, then there are two same tasks in Google Online.

I synchronize the task again, recognizes GTasks the task as duplicate of and deletes them completely.

Settings I've been through just about all. What can I do?

I'm not sure what can cause this but there are a couple of things you can try

1. Empty your outlook trash can (maybe there are som old tasks lingering there)

2. This is a more dangerous process, read carefully: 
   a) Make sure you have "Always wait for user confirmation..." checked under Preferences > Behaviour. 

   b) Synchronize and make sure you have all the tasks you need at Google Online (http://mail.google.com/tasks/canvas )

   c) Go to GogTasks Settings - Advanced, click Wipe all Outlook tasks . THIS DELETES tasks in Outlook, but you still have them in Google.

   d) Synchronize. Make sure all actions are "CREATE" at Outlook. No delete at Google. Confirm when that is done.

I have made. Without success. When the tasks for a second time can be adjusted by gogtasks, are all tasks away. He writes it into Outlook, then he realizes the tasks as duplicates and deletes them immediately.

Is it clear what I mean? It is also strange that all existing at Google and Outlook folders are displayed twice in gogtasks. So the synchronized folder. If I'm just trying to mark only one, are at the next Outlook unfortunately start again both checked. Further, it is so that two are displayed when you select the Outlook profile. I once installed Outlook 2016 - the same problem.

Hmm could it be that you have registered your .pst  file twice? If so, delete one

Solved ! The problem was that the Outllok default file two times was defined as "standard" and not allowed to remove . Using a small tool can let the problem solve and ensure the add- in now works correctly .
