The March meeting of the City of Medford Energy and Environment Committee will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 6, via Zoom.

The Medford Energy and Environment Committee's mission is to promote policies and actions that make Medford more sustainable by encouraging resource conservation, improving climate resiliency, and increasing the use of renewables to meet present and future needs of the Medford community.

Hello E&E members,

Here are the priorities I support most because I think they will have the greatest impact on climate mitigation:

1. Support and promote tree equity across Medford and in particular in areas where there is a paucity of canopy (through our continuing cooperation with Trees Medford)

2. Support and promote electrification of public transport

The other items are also important.
