to Go Green Medford

Garbage to Garden needs your help on the Medford "Street team," talking to residents about Medford's new municipal composting service and making it easy for them to sign up. This opportunity to help Medford go green includes both volunteer shifts and paid shifts. The need is greatest in June, but our work will continue throughout the Summer or until we reach the maximum enrollment for the first year of the program.

Street team members and volunteers will be:
-- Putting up informational door hangers

-- Talking to residents at their homes

-- Talking to residents at events, farmer's markets and public gatherings

A typical volunteer shift is 2-3 hours; a typical paid shift is 5-6 hours. Preferred hours are afternoons and weekends, and we try to work in teams of two. Paid team members should expect to work 15-30 hours per week. Having your own vehicle to use is a plus (mileage reimbursed at .67/mile).
Those interested in helping out should contact Bridget at bri...@garbagetogarden.org.

Thanks,

Alicia
