Hello,
I’m reaching out to share an opportunity of interest to this group and that I hope you will share with your wider Medford network.
Thanks to a MassDEP grant and the City's partners at Garbage to Garden, a limited number of income-qualified Medford households will receive one year of curbside compost collection for only $25. Starter kit included (Rolling Bin, Table-Top Bin, and roll of liners), and a 75% discount on service for one year.
Who can sign up? Any Medford resident that already receives SNAP, TANF, SSI, SSDI, Rental Vouchers, lives in subsidized housing, or has children that receive a free or reduced lunch at Medford Public Schools qualify.
To enter the lottery for subsidized compost service, residents can fill in the form here: https://tinyurl.com/3xt53hzz
A flier with the above information is attached to this email. You can also check out the City's webpage for more information. If you have any questions, or know of anyone our Office should contact directly, please let me know.
Thanks,
Alicia
