Medford calendar supports MHA residents, recycled art programs

Need a wall calendar for 2023? There is still time to order the third edition of the "Moments in Medford" calendar, a fundraiser benefiting Medford Housing Authority residents.

Last year, contributions launched Artepreuners Junior, an afterschool program co-led by a parent-resident, where youth recyled and repurposed “waste” materials sourced from the community, culminating in a sale at the Medford Library.

This year, organizers received a grant from the Medford Arts Council for calendar production costs, which will allow all funds raised to be dedicated to support current programs and create new ones. For 2023, Artepreuners Junior will continue, and an Artepreuners Senior program will be added, along with a collaboration with Justflix, a community social justice storytelling endeavor for youth.
