Hello!

 

I wanted to share two great community events being put on by the City that involve climate resilience, community planning, and a good time:

 

Join us at the Harvest Your Energy Festival!

  • Opportunity to speak directly with the consultants working on Medford’s Comprehensive Plan, Climate Action & Adaptation Plan, Carr Park re-design and Municipal Energy Aggregation.
  • See inside the wind turbine
  • Composting and electronics, textile, and plastic film recycling
  • Kids entertainment provided by Knucklebones and musician Matt Heaton & Trail Mix

When: October 16th from 12 - 3pm

Where: Riverbend Park (rain location: inside McGlynn Middle School)


The City of Medford is hosting Community Workshop #2 on the Comprehensive Plan!

What: A Community Workshop on the Comprehensive Plan- all are invited to attend!

  • A presentation on emerging themes from analyzing community feedback and prior studies done in Medford.
  • Group discussions on community goals and experiences. What do you envision for Medford’s future?

When: October 20th, 6 - 8pm
