It seems golang and goprotobuf are moving to github.
I think this is great.
Submitting a pull request is a lot more convenient than code.google.com's contribution process.
I am sorry that google didn't just add good pull request support for their own code repo server, but anyway.

I have been thinking about this for a while, before golang mentioned it, in the hopes that this would encourage more people to contribute and/or fork.

Unfortunately I am struggling to figure out where I should put it.
I don't think anyone wants to import "github.com/awalterschulze/gogoprotobuf"
So I'll probably create an organisation.
But I can't think of a good name.

Any suggestions?

Does anyone think that I should not move and why?

Ok I am ecstatic.
I got the organisation name.

I will soon be moving to github.com/gogo/protobuf

Moved complete

Go to http://gogo.github.io for the new homepage

I will still be using this googlegroup for discussions and news.
