Greetings from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) – India!

In view of the upcoming visit of the Afghanistan President, Hon’ble Mr. Ashraf Ghani, FES India is organizing an event titled “Vision 2020: The Future of India-Afghanistan Relations” on the 24^th April 2015, Friday at 6:00 PM IST at the India International Centre Annexe, Lecture Hall. The event comprises of “Politics & Business panel” and “Foreign Policy & Security panel”. Eminent panelists discuss their vision for India-Afghanistan in the spheres of economy, trade, commerce, foreign policy, defense, security, domestic politics, civil society and policy formulation.

We understand that this visit provides a great opportunity for both India and Afghanistan to explore ways and means to strengthen the bilateral relationship. The President’s visit also present opportunities to establish bilateral, trilateral or even four-way cooperation in the region in order to transform it to a region of peace and stability. Your presence and active participation would be greatly appreciated.
