I'm quite interested in Gogs, thanks for developing the project.

I currently use gitolite and git-annex, and want to keep that layer of infrastructure. Certain features such as wildcard repository rules ]1\, etc. are invaluable for certain projects. These may also align with Gogs capabilities to manage repositories, within certain configured limits.

What possibilities exist today for integration of Gogs with Gitolite as repository store?

If Gogs could display error/info messages to the user where Gitolite configured rules were violated by Gogs repo management actions, that would be quite usable for many projects. An example is repo creation that doesn't match a Gitolite wildcard spec, if so configured.

Are there any particular roadmap features that will facilitate this?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

It looks a very interesting management!

Is it kind of rules/permissions/behaves management which is defined by this special syntax(gitolite calls it "wildrepos")?

Regards,
