fPIXEL, a disposable desktop environment

Happy New Year.

I just want to welcome everyone for this new forum.

Today, I would like to share our new template fPIXEL.

The motivation was giving kids nearly full experience of the official PIXEL desktop environment while controlling everything behind remotely through flat. As I was developing it, I realized it can be also used as a disposable minimal x-environment since it's already optimized for raspberrypi devices.

fPIXEL requires a monitor attached so X can run. Once it starts, the familiar PIXEL desktop will show up with only few simple tools installed as intended. For your convenience, I prepared a shell script run by 'sudo /install_extras.sh' command in xterm so you can easily convert it into a fully-loaded Raspbian Desktop with chromium and all, and, of course, you can also edit this file and selectively choose package(s) before the batch install.
