[GoFigure2-developers] merging the release_candidate branch onto master?

We have been using / testing the branch release_candidate for few weeks
now, it seems to be quite stable.
I would like to merge this branch onto master, and to make a new release.
Before proceeding, I'd like to know if there are any concerns. Cause of
the holiday, I'd like to wait the end of next week to merge on master.
During this time, please do not add new features on this branch, only
bug fixes. If you are currently working on a new feature, please merge
your work on the develop branch (as usual).
