Greetings, Trail Folk
There will be a scoping event Saturday, October 2nd in anticipation of working the following weekend on Morning Glory, Shooters, and Elevator trails. All interested--especially aspiring Trail Crew Leaders-- are invited to meet at 8:30 am at the bridge / old barn at the end of Stenner Creek Road, or at 9 am in the Eucalyptus grove, near the FASTA lumber pile at the top of Elevator. We will scout some work areas on the way up Elevator.
It is anticipated that this will be a riding event for most, so no need to hike or carry tools. The plan will be to survey Elevator, lower Shooters, and lower Morning Glory for sections in need of maintenance. Pre-rain drain work, as well as brushing will be the emphasis of discussion. Narrative discussion and interpretive dance moves will be provided by the legendary Trail Guru-MC Ron Dexter.
