These Queensland Font Alphabet Desk Strips are editable and can be personalised to include your students name on them with your choice of font. They feature every letter of the alphabet with a cute graphic to correspond to each letter.
Please note: The alphabet font is QLD Beginners font for Queensland teachers in the Australian classroom - If you wish to use a different font, I have an editable version of this available in my store
To edit: If the product description stipulates that the file is editable, it will be editable only in Microsoft PowerPoint. You will need to have access to Microsoft Powerpoint to be able to type in your text. You can access a free trial here.

See below for a range of handwriting and spelling activity resources. These resources were originally developed for students of distance education. In particular the pages appearing in the Alphabet book have been used for the introduction of letters in Distance Education (Session 1 of the Language Across the Curriculum (LAC) program). These resources are now available for all schools, students and families.
The resource 'QCursive: a Queensland handwriting resource for lower primary' has now been made directly available to parents and community members from the Learning Place, without the need to log in.
Schools can now use the resource directly as part of their Parent and Community Engagement strategies. QCursive can be embedded into Virtual Classrooms and edStudios or promoted on school websites. Parents do not need to log in to access the resource.
QCursive includes handwriting and spelling activity resources, as well as links to guidelines for teaching handwriting. Notes about joining rules and guidelines for various year levels are also included.
The package also includes fonts which can be loaded onto a computer, including the Beginner's Alphabet (QBeginners) font and the Queensland Modern Cursive (QCursive) font, for both Windows and Mac computers. QCursive editor software (for Windows computers only) allows processing from unjoined to joined characters.

Sorry for the delay. It took my a while to find your problem, but I found it. You have to drag your characters to the last of the four fields in fontself maker, because FS does not recognise letters a, b, c when they have holes in them.

If you have time, could you maybe try if the font is shown with your Word?
Maybe this font has some kind of incompatibility with Word. It is recognized in word, just not shown in the fonts, while it is shown fully (whole group) in Adobe Indesign for example.
