Not a good news ..but Godrej never promised modular kitchen ..and they promised wooden flooring only in master bedroom .. but I am not sure abt Bathroom fittings and marble flooring .. also I am not hearing anything from Godrej on Possession also .. if all the towers are ready then why they are not offering possession ..it is almost Sept and no communication from them at all .. anyone has updates ??

I had a word with then few days back... Currently they are getting audit done and planning to start with possession for G AND D in month of September followed by other frontier towers then godrej towers... Mine is j and hopefully will get by end of year max...  Also they said furnishing work is going on for club...

Construction quality appears to be better than say Unitech and other tier-2 builders like Parsvnath, etc. IMHO the problem area is poor quality of interior works and fitments.

GPL has used material and designs which are dated, sub-sized and sub-standard compared to other offerings at the similar price points.

Kitchen is a major pain point - it is very small sized and has dysfunctional alignment of door rendering its usage even more challenging on a daily basis (door opens inside the kitchen).

Once you enter the flat, the overall experience is bit underwhelming and does not stand up to the superior brand perception of GPL.

I had pointed out these deficiencies to Tarun Sainani and rest of the marketing gang but it has fallen on deaf ears.

My thesis that GPL would deliver a better maiden product in the NCR market compared to the bunch of unethical builders has unfortunately not stood the ground so far.

Thanks for the feedback. Earlier it was some person on a forum now it is a real user like u . So we must take this seriously.

I had written to Tarun Sainani and he did not reply for 2 days. I escalated and asked for official escalation process and wanted to escalate to senior most level in Mumbai and then he said he will look into this.

I think below is what we should do .

1) Write to GPL MD and CEO in Mumbai, written letter and email.

2) Write to Godrej group MD same letter

After 4 years of trust now and paying 20% premium to Godrej for its brand, I feel kind of cheated and depressed and very unhappy.

We MUST do something.

Yes you are right Tarun. We should not accept inferior product from brand like GPL. The purpose of paying premium to Godrej was to get a good final product. When they launched this project, it was at a high price compared to other projects in that location and we all went ahead because of brand and the expectation that Godrej would deliver a very good quality product

We shouldnt now accept this cheap quality product and we should escalate to Godrej MD immediately

I have written extensively to Tarun Sainani/Customer Centricity Team in the past and even met the Interior Design Manager (Mr Khalid) at the site whom they hired 6 months ago in order to point out deficiencies and agree to a reasonable solution which did not come through.

Good Morning! We represent end users group of Godrej Frontier residential flats in Gurgaon and we would like to bring to your notice our dissatisfaction with the construction quality in general and interiors in specific and we are unable to get any help in this matter from any direction.

We cannot explain you the level of relationship/trust we have built with Godrej Properties. About 4 years back we had several options to book the residential falt but we were very skeptical about many builders because of their past reputation and bad name in the market. When we learnt that Godrej Properties was about to launch their first residential project in Delhi NCR, we felt so relieved and had decided to book the flat in Godrej Frontier without much due diligence because Godrej carries that reputation and trust in the minds of People of India.

Kindly do note that we paid premium to own Godrej residential property which was approximately 15-20% of the market rate and this was because we were convinced that we will get the top quality product which will be much superior compared to any competitor in the market. After getting the booking confirmation, we were thrilled like babies as if we had realized our passionate dream. All these 4 years we had been waiting that soon we will be proud owners of the Godrej residential flat which will be a very distinguished and enviable product in the neighborhood.

Few months back, we learnt that the flats which are very near to possession don't really meet the expectations we had and are just average in construction quality and interiors.

Construction quality does not seem to be any better than say Unitech and other tier-2 builders like Parsvnath. Then another bigger problem area is poor quality of interior works and fitments.
