To be honest, there's enough followers of this psycho to fuck the efforts of the great majority that's making a huge effort trying to stay at home and hold this situation. I'm safe, but daily numbers here are devastating. 

We're living the saddest time in Brazil, as long as my memories reach.

   What was I thinking?  24 years (since 1996).  The tremor of the right hand, is it Parkinson's?  It saddens me to see Godard so fragile.  Sigh.

   COVID19 in California.  My university (the largest public one in the country with half a million students) will go online in the Fall.  But the idiot beach revelers exercise their "freedom" by crowding the sea shore.  Because that is an essential activity.  I have no words.

Well, if you could see the bolsominions (that's how we name the fascist Bolsonaro fanatics here) proud of saluting gim with the hand like the Nazis used to do, you'd have an idea of how deep is the whole in which we are here.

And there's also those who crowd his pronouncements. Situation is tragic here.

Dear Friends,

May I humbly suggest we open this groups discussion to to the image more completely?

JLG can be there as inspiration.

The time is ripe. Just as the food we eat to nourish our bodies and the air we breathe to our chi, so vital is the production or non production for that matter, of the image to our minds' health.

No amount of banging of pots is going to change that.

Possibly the discussion does not have to even be academic although it probably will be.

If I have stepped out of line please forgive me.
