hi,

i've read up on the memory leaks that god has with ruby 1.8.6. are the
issues similar when running god with ruby 1.8.7?

thanks.

Hi Huberto

I've just upgraded to the newest REE

http://www.rubyenterpriseedition.com/download.html

from 18.6 ruby, and I'm running god 0.8.0 on a busy web site, ubuntu 8.04

To be honest I didn't notice any memory leak on 1.8.6, but I'd like to
monitor the memory use of god and have no problems relaying my results
back here to help.

How would you go about monitoring the memory usage of God?

Is it simply using top or ps and checking the memory footprint
manually or have you got some specialist software you use?

hi matt, i've just been watching it with htop and haven't seen any
leaks. it's usage holds pretty steady around 80MB. like you i'm
running god 0.8.0, but on ubuntu 8.10 and ruby 1.8.7. i'm running all
this in the ec2 cloud and if you are as well, you could use their
cloud watch tools to monitor memory usage as well.
