Hi,

I used to working with supervisord. I recently informed of the equivalent in ruby world.

I've tried god on a mac, it worked like a charm.

When I play with it on a gentoo box whether with a non-root user (with rvm) or root (with system's ruby) , it reports `ERROR: Condition 'God::Conditions::ProcessExits' requires an event system but none has been loaded`.

It seems like some issue with the kernel stuff according to this topic https://groups.google.com/d/topic/god-rb/K_rJD_o3eEY/discussion

Someone could help me out ? Thanks.

I've managed to run it. The documentation has mentioned about this :)

God currently only works on Linux (kernel 2.6.15+), BSD, and Darwin systems. No support for Windows is planned. Event based conditions on Linux systems require the cn (connector) kernel module loaded or compiled into the kernel and god must be run as root.

Recompiling the kernel with connector support works. It's under 'device driver' in kernel menuconfig :)
