Support for God and Daemons?

I am really struggling on something and need some help.

Has anyone had any success using God with the Daemons Gem?

I've been trying to get it running now for four hours and I am just spinning wheels on this. I can't get it to monitor the process, it keeps saying its in the starting state, but I clearly see it didn't start anything.

If I run it separately from God it is fine.

Then if I try to run without Daemons, yes it starts, but it remains in the start state and never leaves it, failing to do any real monitoring.

I am completely lost on this one.

Has anyone experience with this sort of configuration? How do I set it up? The paste of the god file is here:  http://pastebin.com/eLHpRpis
