Cassandra certificate expiration behavior

Hello there,

I have a question about how gocql manages the connection to Cassandra in case of certificate expiration. We had a database for which its certificate expired, but the services using it started having connection failures only after around 25 days. And seems that many services failed around the same time. I am trying to understand more about whether this behavior is something related to gocql or the configuration of the Cassandra cluster.

At first, it seemed that something on the Cassadra side triggered and so all the services connected to it started having connection failures because of the certificate expiration.
