Query Performace Issues After Upgrading GOLANG version

Hello,

We were using golang version 1.09 with gocql for running the cassandra queries. 

We have just updated to golang version 1.21 with gocql version 1.6.0. After upgrading, the cassandra queries time have increased significantly, while there is improvement in the queries running from Postgres.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered similar issues or if there are any known compatibility issues between gocql and newer versions of Go. Any insights or suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
