Hi A-Team!

Here are some prayer requests from the planning team about how you can be praying for Spring Retreat. Thanks!

Firstly, that God would bless all the GOC-ers who have come out even during their busy school weeks: God knows their hearts and their sacrifice, and that their love for the Lord is greater than any obligations for school. Secondly, that God would allow everyone to fully immerse themselves in the 3-day experience, and plunge fully into this well-needed rejuvenation in God's Word, away from the world. That He would pour out onto us a wealth of blessings and teachings that would surpass even the most enthused GOC-er's expectations for this retreat. And lastly, that everyone would be able to keep up the state of being attuned to God, even after returning to UCLA. It's very easy to slip back into a lifestyle where Jesus takes a backseat without us even realizing it; let's pray that God kindles everyone's hearts with such fervor and love that their passion for the Lord would never die.

Please pray that the planners would be selfless in our service and that we would continue to deliberately consider that what we do is truly for the work of Christ-- that we would deny ourselves and make sacrifices with joy and thanksgiving!

Please pray for the drivers who will be driving people to and from Spring Retreat. Praise God that the driver availability has improved a lot since our meeting, but please continue to pray for the availability of the drivers. Please pray that drivers would drive safely and responsibly.

Please pray for ourselves, that is A-Team, as we oversee Spring Retreat, knowing that we will likely be very tired by the time the event is over and it is very easily to be irritable when one is tired. Please pray for our attitudes during the event, that we would serve with joy, knowing that God is most glorified in our service when we find joy in serving Him.

Thank for sending these out, David!

Team, please pray over these things on your own! (And when you meet up with your prayer partners!)

I used three exclamation points in a row! That means I'm excited! Now I've used six!
