(NOTE: I am only personally familiar with the 1st generation of Flic buttons. I see on their site there is now a "Flic 2" system, so perhaps some of the info below only pertains to the original buttons -- or maybe more things are possible now?)
To use a Flic with Go Button, you first download and install the Flic companion app. Then in the Flic app, you can configure each button to transmit a command that Go Button can recognize, typically either a remote control or keystroke command from the "Global Music Control" or the "Keyboard Control" screens. Once the Flic button is configured, you can then create a profile in Go Button's "Configure Remote Control" screen to map that trigger to a specific Go Button action.
Alternately - in the world of low cost multi-button remotes, I do like the ease of use of the AirTurn DIGIT III -- even though it is larger than its predecessor. Since you only need the one button, you could constrain your remote's behavior by designing a custom remote control profile in one of two approaches:
- Assign "GO" to every button command that your remote sends, so that no matter which button you press you get a GO, or
- Assign only your primary button to "GO", and then effectively disable all the other buttons by assigning those button commands to the "- no action / disabled -" action.
