Good afternoon dear friend Jorge
Again my thanks to Jorge Luis for translating your message into impeccable English. We are very impressed at the speedy distribution of WSBs and SIABs to families and children affected by the fire disaster in Valparaiso. We also entirely support your decision to hold back the remainder of the consignment for later distribution to families from Santa Olga whose village has now been destroyed by another fire disaster. The first set of photographs are excellent, and it is good to see that District Governor Sonia Patricia Garay Garay was involved in the distribution in Playa Ancha school – with you leading from the front as usual!
We look forward to the Final Report with further photographs from Santa Olga in due course. In the meantime we have asked ShelterBox UK to respond to your request for further aid and I am copying this to our Rotary friend David Glover who is one of the key ShelterBox team here.
Warmest regards
HUgo

Hello everyone, here's the translation of my father's email:
Good morning friends,
Below you can watch a graphic testimony of the aid we delivered on Saturday at 'Policeman Caragia School', Playa Ancha.
The donation consisted of 52 water survival boxes and 60 School In a Bag Backpacks. All of this valuable help has been sent by our Rotarian friends from Chelwood Bridge, England, led by Hugo Pike and PDG Tony Quinn, whom once again are helping Chile in its time of need, as they have done since 2010 to this day.
We send them our infinite gratitude and a warm hug.
The remaining 88 WSB's and 60 SIAB's will go to the village of Santa Olga, which was absolutely destroyed by the fierce fires that still can not be turned off in the South Central zone of our country.
We'd also like to thanks our Governor Sonia, and Ana María Salazar, who let us use her school dependences to fulfill the commitment made, as well as to all Rotarians who came to assist in such an important Rotary work.
We thank Pepe Valencia as well, for providing us security and tranquility in the delivery, since he made the arrangements in order to have Policemen guarding everything in Playa Ancha.
Finally, we'd like to thank our fellow Rotarian Rodrigo Oliver, who through his TV Channel QuintaVisión, gave the coverage this event deserved.
Thank you once again for keeping the Rotary motto alive: Service Above Self and One Profits Most Who Serves Best.
A warm hug to you all,
--
