Gobblin migration to Java 8

Hello Gobblin users,

As mentioned in the last Gobblin community video conference and in last week's Big Data meetup, we are planning to do a Gobblin release later this week (Gobblin 0.10.0) that will become the last release before Apache incubator donation. After donating the code, we will immediately start the process for release 0.11.0.

At the same time, we are planning to make 0.10.0 to be the last Gobblin release that supports Java 7. Any new features and pull requests after the release will be compiled only against Java 8. Our main motivations to do this migration are to take advantage of Java streams and default methods on interfaces.
