Dave you stated, that

"The advantage of the Worker-local data store is that you've got built-
in
sharing. Also, the Worker-local data is stored in files in single-
node
configurations, but are stored in Cassandra in multi-node
configurations."

How do you setup Stambecco to use multi-node configurations? I'm
interested in seeing how it plays with Cassandra.

Thx

Jay

Jay,

At this point, the distributed Stambecco stuff is horrid work in progress that I have not shared.

If you want to contact me off-list and discuss your project and your timeline for deciding to use Stambecco or not, I can see what I can do about giving you a timeline for having this code in the public repository.

Thanks,

David

There's no rush. I've never developed with a NoSql implementation
and I thought
using Cassandra with Stambecco would be that opportunity. I was going
to put it in
the example project that I was considering committing to the group.

Well... it's a funny thing...

Stambecco on Cassandra is *not* NoSQL.  It's pure SQL,  We use Cassandra as backing store for the H2 relational DB.

You could do a Stambecco, Cassandra example without using the distributed Stambecco stuff (the example should just work) and then when I drop the distributed stuff into master, it should work exactly the same way.

Sound reasonable?

Thanks,

David
