server side encryption headers

It does not appear that there is anyway to add the server side encryption header x-amz-server-side-encryption as specified in http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/UsingServerSideEncryption.html.

Is this correct? If there is a way can you please help me understand how to do so. thanks.
