All India Environmental Journalism Competition - Call for Entries

The German development agency, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the Forum of Environmental
Journalists in India (FEJI) and The Third Pole are jointly organising
a competition for best reports on environmental issues in urban India,
in cooperation with IFAT India and Deutsche Welle Academy.

The entries should deal with pollution, protection or sustainable
management of air, water, soil and other resources in urban and
industrial settings. They can also be about the way cities and
industries are coping with climate change effects.

The entry should have been published / broadcast between July 1, 2012
and June 30, 2013 in print, web, photo, TV or radio. There will be
separate prizes in each of these five categories. Each entry must be
accompanied by an endorsement letter from the editor/news editor of
the media house in which the report has been published.

Entries can be in any language. Entries in languages other than
English should be accompanied by an English summary of about 500
words.

Deadline: June 30, 2013

Winners will be notified by the end of August 2013.

The awards will be presented at the IFAT India Fair in Mumbai on
October 24, 2013.
