Goanet: wanted -- volunteers

WANTED VOLUNTEERS for Goanet to assist with the following tasks (successful volunteers who show persistence, patience and determination will be encouraged to take over independent charge or help extend the Goanet project in new directions):

* Goanet Twitter Operations: Tasks involve cross-pollinating between Goanet@Twitter and the main Goanet network. Sharing links via Twitter of interesting posts of Goanet (and vice versa). Focus is on Goa-related or diaspora-linked posts. Time commitment: depending on what is possible, but minimum of two hours a week. Ideal for people with good internet access, Twitter experience and other cyber-skills.

* Goanet Facebook Operations: Same as above, involving Facebook. Also to help expand Goanet's operations on Facebook. Time commitment: flexible, minimum of 15 minutes per day.

* Goanet Music Initiative: To help link up with music from Goa, the musician community, and Goan music in the diaspora. Link-building abilities, musical interests, curiosity and outgoing personality essential. Time commitment: flexible.

Goanet will offer mentoring. Volunteers will be encouraged to come up with ideas and suggestions to enable Goanet to take on greater challenges.

Goanet is a 18plus-year-old initiative founded by Herman Carneiro, and driven by volunteer power. We do not pay volunteers, but will promote growth among those  sincere in supporting this initiative.
