Right on Marie ! We need to save as much of our greenery as possible, and continue to grow trees of all varieties wherever possible.
I have a small tract of hilly land with a variety of old growth trees and bamboos, which I plan to retain as is. I have benches set at strategic locations where I can retreat to and sit in contemplation, listening to the delightful sound of birds of every hue and sound.
It takes a few months to grow an ugly concrete forest. It takes centuries to recreate the forest, and it is the mix of old growth trees
that may not provide fruits, which adds to the vibrancy of the vegetation.
