Dear Members,
Could anyone throw some light on the following:
1) RADISH LEAVES TURNING YELLOW IN A DAY’s TIME: I bought very fresh looking radish with crisp green leaves. However, very next day, the leaves turned yellowish, which was a bit surprising. Because fresh green leaves can probably get dried up, but colour should still be green. Could it be due to any chemical treatment by suppliers?
2) DRINKING WATER OF BOILED GUAVA & PARIJAAT (HARSINGAAR) LEAVES: At times when I prune these plants, we boil the leaves and drink. Is it really healthy for bones, etc or its just a myth?
3) BANANA FLOWERS: After how many days or weeks of flowering, when big fruits have finished bearing, that we should pluck the flower for making vegetables? Also, we believe, after the fruit has been harvested, we should keep the trunk for at least couple of months, as it provides food & support to the attached plants.
Whatever more light can be thrown on above, will be of help!
