QUARK 2012: Applification

Hi,

I am Dheeraj Bhaskar, student of Bits Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus presenting to you Applification, a programming based event of our innovation festival Quark 2012. Being the first of its kind in India, Applification is a search hunt for talented and innovative Android app developers. The challenge is to create an Android app that addresses social and economical issues, and has an underlying business model to make profits

           Applification begins with the abstract submission round, followed by prototype submission, and a popularity round (where the app will be temporarily put on the Android Market or our own site) and the final presentation round at our campus. The judging will be based on theme appropriateness, innovation, user interface, presentation and its financial efficacy.

          Any student of any age having an ID card of any Indian college is eligible for taking part in the event. For further details and the registration link visit the Applification Quark page.
