While I was writing the blog article attached below, I tried to construct a timeline to produce a sequence of events leading to Operation Vijay in 1961, on that subject, the events that transpired between kennedy's letter to Nehru, supposedly dated on the 16th of december 1961, a day before the initiation of operation vijay, and the operation itself, what was the deliberation between a recalcitrant Nehru and , Krishna Menon, and what was the final decision and how was it strategised. I would like to know more about this. please note that the blog attached below is not a fully technical exercise,I am still looking for answers and hope to update it.
