SSA Government College, Pernem: Seminar on the Linguistic Heritage of Goa: History and Struggle

The Department of History in collaboration with the Department of Konkani, is organizing a One-Day National-Level Seminar on the theme "Linguistic Heritage of Goa: History and Struggle" on 11th October 2025, at the Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye Government College and Research Centre, Pernem. The Seminar will invites research scholars and budding researchers to present papers. The aim is to document the linguistic heritage of Goa, which includes dialects, culture, folklore, vocabulary, and so on, of different communities of the Konkani speaking belt spread across Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Kerala. Paper proposals can be submitted on any of the sub-themes outlined below. The Abstract of the paper should reach the Organizers by 15th September 2025.
