Dear friends,

I am pleased to share a recent research article, 'Goa: A Hardening of Hindutva', published in Forum for Development Studies. In it, we analyse the 2024 Lok Sabha election results for Goa's two constituencies. We argue that despite the BJP's apparent losses at the national and state levels, the election in fact represented a further entrenchment of Hindu nationalism in the state.
