medical title from goa's oldest medical school

dears,

I read in one the posts here that if graduated from goa's oldest medical school, the title was likely to a military one or perhaps what seems more accurate is one was likely to be enlisted in the army. please clarify.

Not necessarily- serving as military doctors was a path followed  by many of the graduates but not a mandatory one
