Call for Applications V M Salgaocar Foundation Scholar-in-Residence 2025 Deadline: 31 March 2025 The V M Salgaocar Foundation invites applications for it's second edition of the Scholar-in-Residence Programme 2025. This 30-day residency is designed for writers actively working on a book project focused on Goa. Residency Benefits Round-trip domestic air travel (economy) Accommodation and an honorarium of Rs. 5,000/- per day during the residency period Eligibility The applicant must be a resident of India. The applicant should be working on or completing an original manuscript in English, whether scholarly or literary, fiction or non-fiction. The manuscript must focus on Goa and may explore themes (but not limited to) such as history, culture, diaspora, literature, environment, tourism, economy, geography, and politics. The applicant must demonstrate significant progress on the project, including 1-2 book chapters, a detailed project outline, and supporting documentation.
