Dear all,
As part of the scientific activity and educational offer of MaLGa - Machine Learning Genoa Center, we are delighted to announce the summer school "Applied Harmonic Analysis and Machine Learning", which will take place in Genoa (Italy) on September 5-9, 2022. The intended audience includes graduate students in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering, as well as postdoctoral fellows and young researchers.
The lecturers of this fourth edition will be Joan Bruna (Courant Mathematical Institute, New York University), Agnese Seminara & Alessandro Verri (University of Genoa) and Rachel Ward (University of Texas at Austin). We will also host a one-day workshop with invited speakers and selected contributed talks from the participants.
The school will be held in person, in compliance with all the safety regulations in force at the time. We are glad to offer financial support to cover accommodation expenses, on a first-come first-served basis. Live streaming of the lectures will be arranged for participants unable to travel to Genoa.
There is no registration fee, but participants are required to register before July 31. Applications for financial support or for contributed talks must be filed no later than July 1.
The application form, as well as further information and updates, can be found on the webpage https://malga.unige.it/education/schools/ahaml2022/
We kindly ask you to circulate this message among all the potentially interested participants you may know.
We look forward to seeing you in Genoa!
