Book Recommendation - Board Game on Goa's Freedom Struggle

I am planning to design a modern strategy board game based on Goa's freedom struggle. 

Besides, Goa, 1961 by Valmiki Faleiro, would you recommend any books that I can use as a source of reference. I am hoping to find more details on the freedom fighters and any specific incidents that could be included in the game.
