The Goa Directory of Authors ...

Dear all,

We are currently working on The Goa Directory of Authors and warmly invite anyone who has authored or compiled-and-edited one or more books to share their details with us online.

The project is open to:
(i) authors based in Goa writing in any language,
(ii) Goan authors in the diaspora, and
(iii) authors of books related to Goa.

The online form contains six brief sections covering:
– name and contact details,
– writing profile (languages, genres, and years active),
– books authored (with a one-line description and year of publication),
– a short bio, and
– a request for a photograph.

We would be grateful if you could also share this request with others who may be relevant to the project.

Our plan is to first create an ebook directory and, later, possibly a print publication as well. Lynn Frank is assisting with this initiative.

[Eugenio Monteiro]

Dear Frederick,

I'm sending a short write-up on my Dad, Constancio Roque Monteior.

He wrote a book in Portuguese (2 editions) on Saint Joseph Vaz. And many poems published on A Vida and several Counts on Vauradeancho Ixtt.

I suppose he is a writer often forgotten from the lists og Goan Writers.
