As you may have heard, I've taken to initiative to launch a weekly newsletter titled Geard's Gazette that covers the week's important developments. You can read the full description here.

Briefly, it's a weekly newsletter that aims to offer you a roundup of selected stories from Goa in the week gone by, the news behind the news offering context and insight into what’s happening in Goa, why it matters and why you should care.

Signing up is FREE and will be especially helpful for those who have an interest in Goa but do not follow news from Goa on a regular basis.

The newsletter covers not just some of the work I do, but also that of other respectable journalists as well as offering links to other publications, podcasts, video interviews and events where politics, current events, books, literature, culture and festivals are discussed.

Who am I?

Gerard de Souza, is a journalist and Goa Correspondent for the Hindustan Times. For the past 16 years he's worked across various newspapers including Gomantak Times, OHeraldo and The Goan Everyday writing about Goa’s people and its environment.
