Dear all,

 

I've been trying to gather information about the first editor of the newspaper A Índia Portuguesa, Manuel Lourenço de Miranda Franco or Manuel Lourenço de Miranda e Franco. The only reference I've found is that he died in 1866. My intuition is that he might be a luso-descendent, as there was by that time a luso-descendent family Miranda Franco. But do not have any further data to support this hipothesis. Can anyone help me with this quiry? Namely bibliography which I might not be aware of?
