*DKA Invites applications for the Book of the Year Award 2020*
 
 
 
Panaji: In recent times, it is heartening to note that various books are
being published in Roman Konknni. In view of this, Dalgado Konknni Akademi
is glad to announce the scheme to select the Book of the Year 2020 and
appeal to the writers and publishers to apply for this award.
 
 
 
Under the scheme the writers / publishers who released their books for the
period from January 01, 2019 to December 31, 2020 are entitled to apply.
The book can be from any of the below mentioned categories:
 
a. Poetry
 
b. Story
 
c. Novel
 
d. Essay
 
e. Tiatr (Drama)
 
f. Research
 
 
 
Under the Book of the Year scheme, the winner besides felicitation gets an
award of Rs 20,000/-. Dalgado Konknni Akademi also organises a special
function to present the award to the winner. Kindly note that books that
are transliterated and the writers who are the past winners of this award
will not considered.
 
 
 
DKA request the writers / publishers to hand deliver or post 3 copies of
their books to the office of Dalgado Konknni Akademi at Old Education
Building, 2nd Floor, 18th June Road, Near Pharmacy College, Panaji, Goa.
The books should reach our office by Monday, March 22, 2021.
 
 
 
In case you need more information please contact the DKA office on
0832-2221688 or DKA President, Vincy Quadros on 9822587498. Kindly note the
last date to submit your application is *Monday, March 22, 2021*.
