Directorate of Art and Culture... grant for published books (July 27, 2026)

For those interested, note that the last date has been extended to July 17. This includes the grant for books published in 2025. You can get more details on their website. https://artandculture.goa.gov.in/

The books need to be printed with at least 500 copies. Should have been released during 2025. The author/publisher need to be "Goans" (having spent ten years of their "creative life" in Goa), among other requirements. 

Personally, I think the terms are quite restrictive. Earlier, they would give a (smaller, but more helpful) grant to those with a manuscript, waiting to be published... FN

Directorate of Art and Culture has informed that the last date for submission of the application/recommendation forms in prescribed forms for availing benefits under the various schemes implemented by the Department has been extended to July 17, 2026.

The artist community may please take note of the same and may obtain the forms from the Directorate of Art and Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan. Also, the scheme forms and the detailed criteria is available for download on the website www.artandculture.goa.gov.in. The artists, groups, individuals, institutions who had applied for the above schemes earlier and whose cases were not considered may apply afresh.
