N: An anthology of Goan writing- poetry, short stories, plays, and excerpts from novels.
"With its significant focus on the writing of expat Goans, this book underlines the reality that 'people in exile will never give up hope of returning home to the very last day of their life,' as the Iraqi poet in self-exile Saadi A Simawe said, when responding to this book. 'Pivoting on the Point of Return' seeks to also capture the essence of exile, and expands the field of Goan literature into a universal realm."
I. There's so much in just one book that makes its worth the same as that of about a score of books put together. If you wish to start or expand on your reading of Goan Literature, I suggest you start with this one.
Additionally, I was intrigued when I read that Nazareth studied alongside Kenya's Ngugi wa Thiong'o, another excellent scholar.
