FN, i have been there within Goa Foundation and its work. But, hasn't Goa politics one awry for Land, Soil, Environment, and People - the majority of them, I mean? I have been watching all the movements on FB and elsewhere, primarily for people's speech down to earth Konkani, not Bamon or Parashuram Konkani. It gives the sense of being alive with people's speech, what I call, lokachi soroll bhas. There is a bit of khavpak, yevpak, jevpak etc. and a few other Goanism of sorts. But, generally, it is living speech and self-expressive for most of them. When they explain their garden, produce etc. you feel at home even in Canara.
All the best,
