Continuing with the JRLJ's commitment to writers in Goa, we are very pleased to ring in the New Year with the return of the JRLJ short story contest.
Our judge for the competition is Dr Paul Melo e Castro, lecturer at Glasglow University, who has a solid track record in the short story form, and particularly the Goan short story form, having worked extensively in translating 19th century Goan short stories in Portuguese into the English.
A cash prize, publication on the JRLJ, and a reading at Dogears Bookshop are aimed at rewarding, platforming and showcasing your work.
So get busy with your pens and look forward to reading your work.
