Is there any update regarding architecture and process ?

Hi,

I m wondering if anyone has came up with some concrete ideas about
the final architecture and process this project would like to reach.

I m asking because on my own i have several ideas and i d like to sync
in order to not implement useless ideas,
and / or, rise my arguments on some of those decisions.

Meanwhile, i did this, which could be useful if the project
consider using tarball packaging.

Hope to get some concrete feedback.
