Hello all.  I've submitted a PR, #3017, that provides an API to sign/verify digests.  Do I need to do anything to kick-off a review?

No, it will be reviewed at some point. It may take some time, sorry.

Not trying to be a nudnik, but I was thinking that if this were a lower priority item, that maybe I could host it in its own project, dependent on go-cloud.  It might be a good exemplar of how to extend go-cloud and then all that would be needed is a simple line item in the README file listing extensions built on top of go-cloud.

Thoughts?

Sorry for the slow response, vacations :-|. Hosting in a separate repo might be a good idea, we will discuss and get back to you. Of course, if you think that's the right answer then you can just go for it. We'd be happy to add links etc.

Please go ahead and host this in a separate repo. We'd prefer not to take on new APIs at this time. Let us know if we can add links to the documentation, etc.
