Hello All,

I would like to get feedback on error handling in GoCD. Currently all the errors are showing in a single place and chances are high to miss an important warning or error regarding a pipeline. This is a proposal to move the pipeline error notification inside the pipeline tile.

  1. global errors in the header. clicking on the red box will open an overlay and show all the global errors and warnings.
  2. Placement of pipeline errors notification.clicking on the red circle will open an overlay and show all the pipeline errors and warnings.

Both error overlays looks the same in terms of UI.
sections which has a red vertical line on the left are errors and yellow vertical lines are warnings.

Looks great to me!   I was just experiencing this frustration since I have a number of pipelines under construction as well as being in the process of converting to JSON pipeline-as-code so there are a lot of errors I have wade through to find the error for the specific pipeline I'm working on.

And on a similar topic, thanks for providing informative errors!  The errors are informative enough that I can pin-point the issue fairly quickly, including JSON parsing errors in my pipeline-as-code.
