Hi,

I wanted to know if I can trigger a pipeline by specifying a commit SHA or git tag?

Use Case: I want to run the automation release pipeline with a specific commit of the automation repo.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I am looking for the following:

I want to keep running this pipeline with a particular tag or commit. So was looking whether I can specify it for a longer period and avoid manually setting as you specified, for every checkin.

Im not sure why you would run a pipeline with same commit multiple times. Anyway, you could use Pipeline Schedule API & schedule it at whatever intervals you need.
